PageParticipantPublicI don’t know if that classifies as ‘weird’ but I never go to bed before 4:00 AM (Usually much later).
Part of this is due to my work hours (I do the late evening shift until 3:00 AM) but even on weekends when I don’t *have* to work , I’ll still work in order to keep my daily routine. After work, I usually take a bath and then play a few games to wind down. I have been at the same job since 2005 (yes, 20 years next spring) and I’ve been working this schedule for the most part of these 19+ years. Nowadays, it’s very difficult when I have to get up early (like for a dr. appointment or to catch a plane).
I read somewhere that in the Middle Ages people slept twice. Once from about 8:00 PM until midnight and then again from about 2:00 AM until 6:00 AM. I’d love to try this, but I’ll have to wait until after I retire since I have to work the late evening shift. How about everyone else? What time do you go to bed?

ChrisParticipantPublicThey say that the hours a person sleeps before midnight are so important that they count double.
You know, all my neighbours get up some time between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM and they are out like a light before 9:00 PM.
I feel you’re missing out on a lot of stargazing if you go to bed that early although on a really cold winter night maybe bed is the best place to be.
The only time I go to bed before midnight is when I’m sick or when I have to travel the next day…. and then of course I can’t sleep. How many night owls do we have in the forum here?
